Believe it or not, dogs actually do tend to get heartbreaks and stress if they see that their normal daily life, such as seeing you and living with you every day, has changed from one day to the next. They become stressed and panic while they are trying to understand where you are. This can often lead them to get health issues, and sometimes even a heart attack from all the stress and worrying. You do not want to come back seeing you dog sick, or worse, deceased.
3. A ruined house
You definitely do not want to come back and see a destroyed house and belongings because you dog has been running around without any supervision; you might say they can be more destructive.
