Once you have made the decision to attend the twelve-week intensive business analytics training program offered by RSquare Edge in New York, you may start to have questions about the program. In order to help you to feel comfortable from the start of the training, let’s take a look at the common issues that will help you to prepare for your training and allow you to maximize your opportunities.

Book Accommodations in Advance

Many of our students are not based out of or currently living in New York or the surrounding areas. For these students, we recommend booking your accommodations well in advance.

There are several different options you can consider when staying in the city for your business analytics training. At RSquare Edge, we can’t provide accommodation, but we can make suggestions such as looking for a short-term sublet online or even checking out the advertisements on Craigslist.com. There are several longer stay motels and hotels throughout the city, many right on major transit routes and these can be a good option to consider as well.

Don’t Over Plan

While you will certainly have your evenings and weekends to take in the attractions of the city, the training is intensive and most students find they enjoy just being able to relax, read and perhaps review in the evenings.
If you do want to plan meetings with friends or sightseeing opportunities, you may want to book these activities for the weekend so you aren’t trying to do too much during the busy weeks of training.

Do Some Reading

There are lots of good articles online, including white papers and blogs from leading experts in the big data and business analytics field. Spending some time reading through this information can be very helpful in giving you a big picture look at just how extensive the use of big data is in corporate decision making today.

In addition, with our business analytics training in New York, you will need to have a basic understanding of technology. This can be a good time to brush up on the practical aspects of using the technical tools to be able to utilize the data in ways that are effective. Remember, the course is there to provide you with both theory and practice, but reviewing the basics is helpful if this is an area you don’t currently use in your job.
