- Using warm water for drinking and bathing.
- Not taking a bath immediately after undergoing the treatment or after eating a meal.
- Not sleeping during daytime.
- Not controlling natural urges such as sneezing, coughing, urination or bowel movement.
- Avoiding physical exertion and sexual activity.
- Avoiding the consumption of curds, husked barley, and black gram during the night.
- Not using a very high pillow for sleeping.
