A Bachelor’s Degree Including Certain Courses

Those looking for an entrance into a physician assistant program need to take certain courses during their undergraduate study. These may include genetics, microbiology, general biology, human anatomy, general chemistry, organic chemistry, human physiology, statistics and both general and abnormal psychology. Laboratories to go along with many of these courses are often necessary as well. In some cases, these courses must have been completed within a certain number of years, such as 7 years, of application for the physical assistant program.
An Appropriate Grade Point Average
Simply completing the required prerequisites isn’t enough. Prospective candidates also need to maintain an appropriate grade point average during their undergraduate study.
